RIDGID dies are the only dies engineered to fit RIDGID die heads, and the heads are engineered to fit RIDGID's 535, 1224, 700, 600, 690, and 12-R drives. The 12-R quick-opening head is the most common in the field. High-speed dies are required for stainless and chrome alloys; alloy dies cover standard carbon steel pipe. Match the die to the pipe material and the threader will produce clean, full-form NPT threads job after job.
