The 12-R ratchet threader is the most-known piece of pipe fabrication equipment in the world — it threads 1/8" through 2" pipe with the same dies that fit RIDGID's powered drives. The 65-R and 141 geared threaders extend to 4" and 6" pipe. For new construction in unpowered structures and for gas line repair work, hand threading remains the safest option.
