The RIDGID 460 tristand chain vise is the pipe vise — fold-up tripod legs, hardened jaws, and chain capacity from 1/8" through 6". The 40-A and 40-S yoke vises bolt to a bench for shop work. Once a contractor sets one up, they don't replace it for 20 years. Replacement parts (jaws, chain, handles) are still stocked for vises sold in the 1980s.
